The best dog language DVD out there!, June 28, 2006 |
Reviewer: Rachel Gorwitz |
I got both of the Blue Dog DVD's about a month ago and having seen so many other similar products I thought this would be more of the same. Not so! The quality is amazing and Sarah Kalnajs is a fantastic and knowlegable speaker to listen to. The time flew by and I wished there was more to watch. I learned more from these two DVD sets than I have from any dog book or DVD in a very long time! I highly recommend The Lanugage of Dogs and Am I Safe for anyone who lives or works with dogs. |

Language of Dogs Brief Review
A fascinating exploration of postural communication in dogs, at an unprecedented depth. Being able to see multiple examples of each behavior is highly valuable as is the discussion of the distinction between behaviors that might superficially look the same. Focusing on looking at context and clusters of behavior is another valuable feature of this presentation. Sarah presents her information in a warm and funny manner. This DVD set would be valuable for anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of how dogs communicate stress, and distance increasing/decreasing behaviors.
