Expanded Description:

A Dog World Top 12 Training and Behavior Book - 2010!

If you started life as a child who loved dogs more than anything else in the world and grew to an adult with the same love, then this book by Suzanne Clothier belongs at the top of your list! Suzanne talks about her childhood with dogs and her relationship with them, and the differences between training and having a real relationship with your dog. She talks about specific dogs and situations, what she learned from them, and how they have changed her attitude towards dogs and towards training. The dogs you'll meet and the lessons they teach may make you want to start over with your dogs and develop a better relationship. At the very least you will come away from this special book with a different attitude towards your canine companions and a new understanding of training and relationships.

Must Read, March 27, 2003
Reviewer: Elyse Grau
This is a wonderful book. It is so moving and beautiful, and every page really gives you something to think about. I have already read it twice. I think much of what the author says about relationships with dogs could apply to people, too. The only thing more that I would have liked to see from this book would have been suggestions on how to implement some of her ideas. If you own a dog, you need to read this book!

This book is wonderful. It is written with deepest love and regard for canine friends and it was delightful reading as well. The author has a wonderful, very kind sense of humor, and definitely knows what makes dogs tick.

Reviewer: Marta Spry
This book moved me to strive to become more in touch with my dog. I felt that I had a good relationshp with my animals but this book only served to show me that I could do better for my dog and I. The concepts reviewed in the book were just astonishing. A must read for the true animal lover. Insight in death and life for you and your dog.
