Expanded Description:
"101 Dog Tricks" is the largest trick book on the market and the only one presenting full-color photos of each trick and its training steps. The step-by-step approach, difficulty rating, and prerequisites, allow readers to start training immediately. Tips, and trouble-shooting boxes cover common problems, while "build-on" ideas suggest more complicated tricks which build on each new skill. No special tools (such as clickers) or knowledge of specific training methods are required. Featuring step-by-step photos of every trick in the book.
Trick training is a great way to bond with your dog and help him integrate into your family. It keeps him mentally and physically challenged and helps to establish paths of communication between you. Many tricks build skills needed for common dog sports, dog dancing, and dog therapy work. |

Desperate Housedogs Must Have, January 20, 2008 |
Reviewer: Barb Mattson |
Kyra Sundance is terrific! So glad to see a book just like this, full of detailed photos and instruction to teach your dog just about anything.
The 'Brainiac' dogs out there would line up out the door to get this book to their owners. A bored dog will find trouble, and this book is a sure cure for a Desperate Housedog... my nephews giggle and are entertained for hours at the tricks my dogs have learned.
sign me up for David Letterman's stupid pet tricks! We are ready! |

Love the Colorful Visual Format, February 7, 2008 |
Reviewer: Chapel Taylor |
I recently bought this book and it has already joined the very short list of books I recommend to my students. It is wonderful! The format is full of color, bullet points, pictures, and concise descriptions. It easy to jump into and start using without having to read the whole thing cover to cover. I like to use these fun tricks as a way to spice up my training routine. Dogs get bored if you keep doing the same old sit, down, stay routine you've always done. With this book you'll find tons of cute fun ways to spice up you're training sessions. If you're really ambitious you could probably use this book to get yourself in to the dog performance arena! |
