Bill Campbell Tribute
|

Dear Dogwise Customer,
William E. Campbell, 84, well-known dog trainer, author, lecturer and mentor to generations of dog trainers, passed away at his home in Grants Pass Oregon January 18th, 2014.
Bill Campbell was a friend and partner to the Dogwise family and the author of Behavior Problems in Dogs, now in its 3rd edition. This book shaped modern dog training and continues to be the go-to book for veterinarians and dog trainers when facing challenging canine behavior issues. His Behavior Rx booklets have been widely distributed to veterinarians throughout the world.
Bill devoted his life to improving the lives of animals, especially the family dog, by applying sound scientific and humane reasoning to their behavior and training. Bill always had time to talk to his students and fellow trainers and gently guide them in their understanding of canine behavior. As a Dogwise author Bill was one of the first to trust us with the distribution of his books. We at Dogwise were always very proud to be associated with Bill and his work. He was always a gentleman who was honest and ethical in his dealing with people....and of course....animals! He will be missed.
