Wags and Smiles...., October 7, 2015 |
Reviewer: Lennox Reuben |
.... Everywhere!
You learn good things from good teachers, and what I have learned from this Training Games kit, from a teacher that puts the dog, and its relationship with you, first above all, is like a treasure that has finally been found, opened, and enjoyed. |

Great Tool!, June 15, 2015 |

I've been using this tool both in my classes and as a stand alone for 'Games Night' drop ins for years now. My students love playing these games with their dogs! The graphics on the cards make it simple to sort through them when you're looking to practice a specific skill, and the handy reference for modifications is easy to follow. You won't be disappointed. And more importantly, neither will your clients! |

When a master instructor like Suzanne Clothier is willing to share how she orchestrates her classroom, it is an opportunity you don't want to miss. RCT Training Games Kit includes 24 games that will spice up your group training events.
Can your dog hold a sit when another dog is running past? 'Head of the Class' offers a format in which you can safely set up a class to provide your students with an opportunity to challenge their dog's ability to hold that stay, while another student is practicing recalls.
How can you invite your students to practice a variety of skills in close proximity, while also ensuring both team safety and participation? The 'Four Corners' game offers a road map.
RCT Training Games Kit is a great resource for training class curriculum. I have used ideas from this kit in a variety of classes I teach. The games have great flexibility--and include guidance for using them to help students at a variety of levels. Because you can adjust the challenges to meet a student team (handler/dog) exactly where they are, it is easy to present every student in your class with an appropriate task.
The flashcard format makes it easy to select just the tasks you need for the class you are planning. My classes have always enjoyed playing these games. |
