| I am a professional trainer and I use Leslie's reliable recall technique with great success. I train all breeds including the indepedent breeds. I live in an area with miles of trails in open space where dogs are allowed off leash if under voice control. I have a number of clients who can NOW take their dogs in the open space, and allow their dogs to enjoy the freedom to be off leash. I am so happy Leslie now has a DVD geared for my clients. It is professionally done, and clear to understand, repeating over and over the important bullets to getting a reliable recall. I recommend my clients buy the DVD along with taking my reliable recall class. Great job, Leslie! |

| Whenever anyone asks me how to teach a reliable recall, I tell them to order Leslie Nelson's DVD! It teaches it far better than I could. The fact that she works with a breed that is supposed to be impossible to train for recalls (The Afghan Hound) it makes it all the more convincing to me! |

| I loaned this to a friend doing Disc Dog competition(recent world champ!) and having trouble on recalls at events. She said it made a BIG difference for her. Good step by step procedure with lots of examples and troubleshooting. This really is the gold standard of teaching recalls..and of course positive method based! |

Great DVD for the average pet owner to start working with their dog on an emergency recall. There is also a section for those who own hounds, terriers or northern breeds that are less inclined to come when called. Learn how to use the name game, rules of a really reliable recall and the three reasons why it may be failing.
The goal is a reliable emergency recall but the added bonus is that you are building a better relationship with your dog as well as a regular recall.
There's also a section if you are in instructor on how and when to incorporate it in your classes.
This really should be a 'must have' for every dog owner. |

| This should be in every pet owner's and dog trainer's book shelf. There is no good excuse for not teaching your dog a reliable recall, and this dvd (or the booklet) will teach you exactly how to go about doing it. |
