A MUST HAVE, August 16, 2004 |
Reviewer: Connie O'hara |
Jean Donaldson has done it again with one of her 'get your attention right away' topics. This is a great book for the novice and seasoned dog trainer alike. It would also be a great training tool for some owners who are willing to work through the exercises. There's something about dealing with aggression in dogs for everyone to learn in this book. Greatly needed in a time where too many people are mislabeling dogs as 'agressive' without knowing what that really means. |

This offers complete information on dog aggression and how to modify behavior. It also suggests a professional trainer- as would I. As always, Jean Donaldson offers information in a different way of thinking and with some scientific backing. If more owners read books like these, dogs wouldn't have the problems they do. |

This book is not very complete. It is a little bit limited. In some parts of the lecture, it becomes very hard to read. In general, not enough info & boring. |

Good for owners dealing with dog-dog aggession, December 14, 2016 |
Reviewer: Johanna Bouchard |
Fight! is a great source of information and helpful solutions for owners of dogs who are dog-aggressive. Covers different aspects of aggression and the positive-based training techniques owners can use to overcome them. Some parts of the book get more technical than others by delving into behavior and learning theory jargon, but has plenty of good, sound, practical training advice. Highly recommended! |
