Great Agility reference book, April 15, 2010 |
Reviewer: Tammi Stone |
I attended Eva and Emelie's seminar about 1 month ago and bought this book there.
It is a very comprehensive book that can be used for clicker training agility from the start, or retrain.
It is arranged so that exercises are easy to find and return back to. Some of their ideas are different than most US Clicker trainers, but make sense as well as easier for the dog to understand as they are consistent in their basic approach to all their training exercises.
Their ideas are refreshing and give you more ideas to strengthen your training skills. |

Fundamental Agility Fun, April 16, 2010 |
Reviewer: Donna Elkin |
As a dog book junkie, I get excited about every new clicker book, but this one has gone right to the top of my list. It is so complete in foundation work, that it will be not until I get into the second hundred pages that I will begin training. I've said this before, but I believe this is the last clicker and agility book I will ever need. Nothing is left to chance. Now the fun begins, and so much can be done at home rather than driving far to an agility field. I can't imagine a better book than this one. Definitely worth the price. |

This book is excellent. I will be using it to raise my next agility puppy and will be retraining my greyhound. |

Great ideas!, May 10, 2010 |
Reviewer: Kristen V |
This book goes everywhere with me and is by my bed at night! I'm using many of the concepts and phrasing in all of my classes, even for basic/manners training. The authors do a great job of breaking down handler skills and teaching that skill set separately from the training. This is one of my favorite training books and by far the best agility introduction book I've read. |

great for beginners/cross over trainers, August 4, 2011 |
Reviewer: Leonore ~ Chile Agility |
Love the layout and format. Content is excellent for handlers and dog trainers new to agility and looking for a proven method that will not only lay a great foundation of skills but also prevent a lot of common rookie mistakes. It's also a well-written treatise on R+ training for experienced trainers that are looking to 'do better' by crossing over to R+ techniques. Trainers and handlers with advanced R+ skills may not as get as much from it, however. There are a lot of creative pre-obstacle ideas and the progressive nature of the program is clearly presented. |

Love the way this book is written... it is in simple terms that make understanding the concept easy. It takes you from the very beginning and without expensive equipment. Great book for either the beginner, intermediate or advance agility person who wants help in their training. |
