| This book is simply brilliant! Anyone who owns a dog, cat or ferret should read it. It is informative, enjoyable and easy to digest. Whether you are already feeding RMB's or just toying with the idea of changing your pets diet, there is something to be learnt from this superb book. I have been feeding RMB's for 6 years and thought I knew all I needed to know. Wrong. I still gained some information. If you care about your dog, cat or ferret, you owe it to them to read WORK WONDERS because believe me it will. |

Easy to read, a good length and includes all relevant information. It’s ideal for dog owners new to the natural diet and those already on ‘the path’.
The first chapter explains in plain words the principles, sound logic and benefits of why the natural diet is right for your dog, and finishes by making a philosophical statement that we should all follow – ‘how to start? Simply by making a start!!’ Which obviously applies to everyone from wherever they are.
The further chapters explain how to look for which types of food, how much, how often and who for. Plus how to feed and store, sources and safety. He also addresses fears of changing to the new diet and why some problems that people fear are not problems at all. Plus details regarding breeding and supplementation.
Health problems are looked at, both biological and man-made. This is followed by a chapter looking at disease throughout the various areas and systems of the body.
A welcome chapter is included on basic canine dentistry and gives us insight into what we should be aware of within our dog’s mouth.
He then looks at ‘dog wellbeing’ in terms of how we can all make choices to find the right vet, plus continue to pass on information to help the ‘crusade’, and he reiterates the cost benefits of the natural diet.
There’s also a short ‘Information Resources’ section at the end, together with references source and index.
‘Work Wonders’, if you follow it, will do just that – ‘Work Wonders’. Whether it’s for yourself, a friend, neighbour, or vet, it will ‘Work Wonders’. An excellent and wonderful follow up to ‘Raw Meaty Bones’ that is a credit to Tom. |

I attended Dr. Lonsdales excellent and easy to follow speakings about raw feeding in Germany and have been waiting for his new book. Feeding dogs a healthy diet can be that simple! People getting their dogs started on natural food are often concerned about nutritional values, correct ingredient amounts or important food supplements they have heard of.
Forget all those difficult ideas. You don`t feed yourself and the kids by nutritional tables, and your dog won`t need that either!
Work Wonders is easy to read, simple to understand and to follow. Additionally, dog owners get advice how to find reliable and affordable food sources and how to store it efficiently. Links to related internet discussion groups are provided, and newbies to raw feeding will appreciate this support.
Popular rumors are discussed, such as blood-lust in raw fed dogs, and I loved it (I am owned by Rottweilers).
The book is completed by brief and understandable information on certain parasitic and systemic diseases and their food relation. Work Wonders is a great book and written with a good sense of humor. Lots of people waiting here for the german edition! |

If you're having health issues with your animals or want the BEST food for them...check out feeding a REAL Raw meat, meaty bone, offal diet to them. The difference will amaze you!
