Expanded Description:
This book contains, in Part I, the complete set of 72 newspaper columns that explain some mysteries of living. The column topics appear in an easy-reading sequence, and all consider aspects of the natural science of behavior, now known as behaviorology, and its broad range of application for helping humanity deal with local and global problems. Part II contains six papers that support the topics of the columns. This book of readings complements the author's previous textbook and general-audience primer audiences, bits of wisdom from exploring and explaining some behavior mysteries of living, this accessible book serves both new readers and readers experienced in the discipline.
The author received his M.A.from California California State University, Sacramento, in 1973, and his Ph.D. from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, in 1982. As a professor of Behaviorology for over 40 years, he designed behaviorology courses and curricula for all levels of higher education, and has written several books to increase understanding and applications of the relatively young - at at little over 100 years - natural science of behaviorology. He also consults with universities and colleges to build quality behaviorology departments and programs.
