Disappointed, June 23, 2008 |
Reviewer: Regina Allen DVM |
I was disappointed with this CD. I expected the 'virtual judge' to be calling heeling patterns and other the exercises as if we were in the ring. Instead, the judge gives a description of every exercise and tells you where points are lost before calling each exercise. It's really annoying, and messes up the flow of ring practice, because you have to wait a while between each exercise for the 'judge' to stop yapping and start judging. The dog show noise section was acceptable, but not necessarily specific obedience noise. I was expecting metal articles clanking, someone telling me to 'line up for sits and downs,' etc., but it was just crowd noise. |

I bought this tape for my conformation handling class. I was disappointed in it. I expected to hear announcements over the loudspeaker, dogs barking, blow dryers, maybe even the national anthem. Instead, it is mostly generic noise that could be heard at any crowded place - people talking, a judge in the distant calling obedience directions. |
