This book is too old... I'm very disappointed. A book about training obedience with corrections and prong collars is not what I was looking for. |

Help for all sizes, January 22, 2008 |
Reviewer: Jodie |
This book is great for hints and tips for training small dogs, but most of the ideas presented in this book will work for larger dogs also. It gives many examples of how obedience is such a different sport when viewed from a small dog's perspective, and why it is so important to keep this in mind while training. |

A MUST for small dog training, November 11, 2006 |
Reviewer: JoAnn Hetherwick |
If you have a small dog that you plan to train in any way, you must have this book. It is an invaluable guide to the special techniques required in training your little dog. After being ignored and frustrated in training classes with my toy poodles, I bought this book, and realized why. Most trainers have no idea what to do with little dogs, and their unique training needs. These authors do.They have been wildly sucessful with their own dogs, and can translate their ideas, and techniques in a way that is entertaining, and easy to read. Their whole approach is quite novel, and very exciting.
It really is a different world with a small dog. If you have and love at least one, like I do, buy this book! |
