Encyclopedic, November 18, 2013 |
Reviewer: Emmagrace |
This is a reference book! Yes, I do get to understand more about what my dogs are saying (and I'm trying to learn) but it was actually 'more' than what I wanted/needed. However, as stated, the reference material is not to be denied. On page 110 the numerical reference for the written behavior has not been noted. I can figure it out...but it is an error. Before purchasing check the table of contents and read a couple of definitions...see if this is what you're looking for. If I had I probably wouldn't have bought this book and chosen something else. The book was immaculate!! The cover perfect! I will certainly continue to purchase from this seller. I gave it 3 paws for content....because some definitions I just didn't 'need' right now....wanted more pen and ink sketches of body language. But I assume responsibilty for not reading more reviews/checking out the table of contents and previewing the actual content. |

This is probably the first good book on canine body language and behavior. Reliable. Easy to understand. Good insights. Lots of drawings. However, there are newer books out there -- I'm checking out if any are better. |
