Expanded Description:
Bing’s problems weren’t obvious from the beginning but expressed themselves in unexpected ways over time. Treating him with medications and a specific diet helped, but didn’t come close to making him a reliable and sociable house pet. More was accomplished by keeping him engaged, using his innate skills as a herding dog, and training advanced skills. Most of all he learned that being with me was his greatest reward – That I was his point of safety and comfort. The things we accomplished and the fun we had more than made up for the difficulties, heartbreaking frustration and time consuming attention that made him a dog that on might consider giving up on. The Bing Blogs chronicle the adventures and successes that made having a relationship with him the best anyone could ever want.

Excellent and Informative, May 5, 2017 |
Reviewer: Jessica |
'The Bing Blogs' shows the great amount of work that can be done to help our dogs and the results. It details everyday life and training skills worked on with a lovable dog named Bing. This book is an excellent read for anyone, especially those of us with dogs who are different-as Bing is mentioned to be 'one weird dog.' It details Ali's work with Bing, helping him live with his fears such as being in the car. It details different steps and training she took to help her dog. The book has humor and shows that with work and dedication towards your dog you can live a happy life and build up a relationship with your dog. 'Your dog can learn that you are their reward.' I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with a dog, or even without a dog as it recalls a wonderful journey between Ali and her dog Bing. |
